Transcript Requests

Transcript Processing Notice:
Transcript requests for current students will not be processed until after May 22, 2020. Any transcript request for current students received between May 11, 2020 and May 22, 2020 will be processed during the week of May 26, 2020. If you need a copy of your transcript prior to the week of May 26, 2020, you may view and print an unofficial copy in My MU Plan. 

All transcripts issued are official. No unofficial transcripts will be issued by the Office of the Registrar. Current students may view and print their unofficial transcript through My MU Plan. You must clear any financial restrictions, including Student Accounts holds, from your record before any transcript request will be processed. If your hold has not been cleared within thirty days of submission of your transcript request (or you fail to notify the Office of the Registrar that your hold has been lifted within thirty days of submission of your transcript request), your request will be cancelled and you will need to submit a new request once your hold has been lifted.

Electronic Transcripts

Current students can request transcripts through the Marymount University Portal by clicking the “Order my Transcripts” link under the "Sign On Links" menu. Former students can also request transcripts electronically through Credentials Solutions. Electronic transcripts requested through this service cost $5/copy. Transcripts requested through this service to be mailed cost $7.25/copy. Electronic transcript requests will be processed within 1-2 business days after receipt of your authorization form by Credentials Solutions.

Authorization forms can be submitted to Credentials Solutions by fax or mail (see authorization form for details) or by uploading a 1mb .jpeg file to Credentials Solutions by selecting "Check the Status of my Order". To view your order, enter the order number and your student ID or SS. Questions about the status of your order or the reciept of your transcript can be emailed to Credentials Solutions using the "Contact Us" link within the order details page for your order.

Hard Copy Transcripts

When making a request by mail, fax or email, please include the following information or complete the Transcript Request Form:

  • your name or the name under which you attended Marymount University
  • date of birth
  • current address, phone number, and email address in case we have questions
  • Social Security Number or Marymount ID number
  • approximate dates of attendance or date of graduation
  • complete address where the transcript is to be mailed
  • your legal signature
Students should not use the Transcript Request Form to request electronic copies of their transcript. Instructions for requesting electronic copies are above.

Transcripts are not faxed under any circumstances.


All fees must be payable in U.S. currency by check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Do not send cash by mail. Make checks payable to “Marymount University.”

Regular Service:

NO CHARGE; will be processed in approximately 3 – 5 business days and mailed out by regular U.S. Postal Service. At the end of each semester, it may take up to two weeks to issue transcripts, particularly if you request that your transcript include end-of-term grades and/or degree conferral. Requests for regular service transcripts must be made using the Transcript Request Form.

Next-Day Delivery Service (US Addresses Only):

$10 per copy + $25 delivery charge per address (US only); will be sent via FedEx. All requests must be submitted with a credit card payment form and be received by 12:00 p.m. Requests for next-day delivery service transcripts should be made using the Transcript Request Form. Students may also make a request through Credentials Solutions, however fees may vary.

International FedEx Delivery Service (incl. Canada):

International FedEx transcript requests should be made through Credentials Solutions. Requests using the Transcript Request Form must include a prepaid FedEx air bill and any required custom forms for the destination country. (Single transcripts are under 1 lb in weight). Rates may vary.

Due to the larger volume of international requests, Credentials Solutions is able to offer a more competitive rate and better service for international shipping. Therefore, it is recommended to use their shipping service.

Credit card payment information and cardholder signature must be included with any emailed or faxed request for which a fee is assessed.

Resend Policy

One courtesy resend will be sent upon request at least 14 calendar days after the original send date. All requests must be made within 30 calendar days of the original request. No changes to the address will be allowed.
